How can you be reached if I have additional questions?
- This filing is a requirement for institutions who have obtained their Servsafe Food Service Manager Certificate and will be serving and handling food for distribution and sale to the general public in the City of Chicago. This dual filing is called reciprocity (equal local recognition) and must be processed with the Department of Health.
When will I receive my certificate of reciprocity? How will I receive it?
- When we submit the file on the applicant's behalf, the Chicago Department of Public Health processes the certificate and will mail it directly to the applicant's address on file. This is done typically within 2-3 weeks.
Are registrations refundable or transferrable?
