Where will classes be held?
- We are pleased to provide you with this service at our Westside location in the Austin community. Classes will be held at the new campus of BUILD, located at 5100 W. Harrison in Chicago.
- After purchasing your session, contact our office to schedule a mutually beneficial time. Options are generally flexible to accommodate busy schedules.
- Click the register link on this page. Upon completion of payment, an automatic receipt will sent to you by email. Retain it for your records. We will also have a file of your registration on the day of the class.
- Yes, free on-street parking is available.
- Purchased registrations are not refundable or transferable, so be sure to choose the date that best corresponds with your time availability.
- Be sure to bring a valid legal photo identification to verify your registration. Forms of identification consist of a state photo identification or driver's license. You must also bring your own laptop device.
- The class is 2 hours in length and it is timed. Your exam results will be available the same day and only after you have submitted it.
- Yes. It is a public safety requirement for anyone handling and serving time and temperature controlled food safely in outdoor settings to the general public. At least one PIC (person in charge) with the certificate must be present.
- There is a 15-minute grace period. Arrival beyond this allotted timeframe requires that the attendee reschedule for a future date. Electronic devices/cell phones are not allowed while courses are being administered.
- Yes. We are available to schedule individual or group sessions that are held on-site.
- Within 24 hours of purchase, you will be emailed Zoom login information. Your uninterrupted onscreen/unmuted attendance is mandatory to earn your certificate, as courses are interactive.
